SUMMARY:February 2026 Meeting - Ben Modica
DESCRIPTION:Ben has pursued muskies since 1987\, dedicating decades to learning the patterns\, behaviors\, and tactics required to consistently target this elusive predator. Since the early 1990s\, much of his time has been spent on the Illinois Fox Chain of Lakes\, along with legendary waters such as Lake St. Clair\, Green Bay\, and Mille Lacs. These lakes have shaped his overall approach to musky fishing. Ben is passionate about teaching anglers on how to have proper lure presentation. This can make the difference\, turning follows into strikes. He’ll be talking about bait choices and lure presentations—focusing on when\, why\, and where specific tactics work. The photo above that shows an example of changing up a casting tactic and triggering a strike.\n\nDon’t miss this great meeting as our monthly club meetings resume!!
